And born blonde ... well I reckon quite a lare slab of the population are born blonde.
Years ago I had a boyfriend and we played mixed netball together, along with an ex boyfriend (who was the current boyfriend of my best friend ... but that's another tale all together!) My bestfriend Michelle had a reputation for being vague and not terribly cerebral.
At our netball grandfinal (which I was sitting out thanks to a busted ankle subbing on Mick's team the week before!) Michelle's family had come along to cheer her on.
All her sisters and brothers (but one are blonde!) Mick turned to me, dead pan and said 'Ahh I get it now. Michelle had blonde genes!'
That was 17 years ago and I've never forgotten it.
